Sound Effect Artist

Requirements:

- Responsible for delegating with other team members.

- Can create sound effects for weapon firing, handling, foley, user interface, etc.

- Able to create sound effects with a sense of artistic style and a mixture of tradition.

- Has a general understanding of music theory.

- Ability to receive feedback and make changes in accordance.

- One year of sound design experience.

- A demonstration or evidence of previous sound design work.


Brief Description: Dedicated to creating sound effects, such as weapon firing and handling, foley, user interface, etc.


Payment: Approximately $20-$45 per sound effect pack, paid per-pack. Negotiable.

Music Producer

Requirements:

- Can replicate sounds similar to how it would be in real life regardless of whether it exists.

- Able to creatively compose sounds with a sense of artistic style and a mixture of tradition.

- In charge of making sure the sound is versatile amongst different types of devices like mobile, computers, laptops, etc.

- Responsible for keeping the quality of the sounds as high as possible, with the addition that it should sound uniform, not messy.

- Flexibility in creating different sounds that are most similar to the soundtrack of the game it is intended for. And can create sounds that match the intensity, motion, atmosphere, and tone of the scene and or game as a whole.

- Can create sounds that can induce the want to play the game again and or become a memory to the player.

- Responsible for delegating with other team members.

- Ability to receive feedback and make changes in accordance.

- One year of music production experience.

- An exceptional musical portfolio.


Brief Description: Will produce/compose music soundtracks for games. May include a variety genres, such as dramatic, electronic, ambience, etc.


Payment: Approximately $15-$35 per song minute. Negotiable.

3D Character Modeler

Requirements:

- Actively use references for realism and logical practice of modeling characters.

- Able to create concepts and simple drawings to convey ideas.

- Understanding of industry workflows, such as UV wrapping and unwrapping, texturing, low and high poly, topology, etc.

- Has a general understanding of color theory.

- Ability to receive feedback and make changes in accordance.

- Has knowledge of optimization techniques.

- Responsible for delegating with other team members.

- At least two years of organic/soft-surface modeling experience.

- Experience using Blender and a texturing application (such as Substance 3D or Armor Paint).

- An exceptional modeling portfolio.


Brief Description: Will 3D model characters, character clothing, and soft-surface character accessories with proper topology and rigging.

Environment Artist

Requirements:

- Able to apply industry-level knowledge to design a level that guides a user's line of sight and provides good gameplay.

- Has a general understanding of color theory.

- Ability to receive feedback and make changes in accordance.

- Has knowledge of optimization techniques.

- Responsible for delegating with other team members.

- Experience using Blender

- An exceptional level design portfolio.


Brief Description: Will design levels for first-person shooter games that seek to provide intense and varied gameplay.

Manager (1/1)

- Responsible for the entirety of iG Studios.

- Fixes backend issues within any iG Studios owned servers.

- In charge of delegating issues and responsibilities to others.

- Must be able to create and update documents necessary for all teams to operate properly.

- Has the ability to communicate with team and community members without trouble.

- Able to look at a situation from an outsider's perspective without bias.

- Make decisions affecting the future and current state of iG Studios.

Development Team Assistant manager (1/1)

- Responsible for the developer team of iG Studios.

- Able to delegate between developers and assign tasks.

- Has the ability to communicate with team and community members without trouble.

- Can host frequent meetings and community events to obtain feedback.

- Able to criticize and provide feedback for all sections of development.

- Make decisions affecting the future and current state of iG Studios.

Programmer (4/4)

- Responsible for delegating with other team members.

- In charge of naming everything with names dedicated to its intention.

- Can structure your code in a way where: variables are at the top, then functions, then constructors, methods, and finally main "runners."

- Avoid nil/null arguments, Boolean arguments that change behaviors of a function, cache inline functions, repeating code and variables, and last but not least, procedural instances.

- Can create reusable code in different contexts: can be read by different people, has descriptive comments, is consistent, lacks repetition.

- Responsible for dedicating time to creating a better solution rather than a messy one.

- Create testable code, concise functions, optimized and simple code, object-orientated instances.
